Sempervivum Frodo ..... Frodo is as tough, resilient and enduring as its namesake. Small rosettes produce the "chicks" on a tight circle surrounding the "Mama hen". This makes Frodo a good choice for a small container or niche in the rock garden. It does have "fuzz" and generally the fuzzy ones do not like to be out all winter in the rain of the P.N.W. In other parts of the country this sempervivum is just fine. Hybridizer Betty Z. Bronow. (U.S.).
